Jenny holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management from the United States. She charted her career in insurance in 1996 at a respectable insurance company prior to joining STATE in 1997. In her 15 year career of insurance brokering, Jenny assists in the company’s corporate matters while focusing on the marine insurance portfolio.
Lim Heok Hooi

Insurance experience since 1970
With more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Heok Hooi also spent over a decade as a manager in a large international insurance brokering company. He acts as STATE’s chief in the Penang office, in the northern region of Malaysia. Heok Hooi is experienced in all classes of General Insurance.

Equipped with training from his appointment at one of the largest insurance surveying company in Malaysia since the 1980’s, Teck Hua joined STATE in 1994. He has more than two decades of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in marine related insurances. Teck Hua manages a large portfolio of our marine clientele, particularly in East Malaysia.
Robert Ng Sing Peng, AAll AMll

Robert is professionally qualified as Associateship of The Malaysian Insurance Institute (AMII) and has more than 38 years of experience in both life and non-life insurance matters. In the course of his insurance career, Robert has participated in numerous insurance management and technical programs including intensive Oil and Gas courses conducted by University of Texas, and the Chartered Insurance Institute of London. He was also a part time lecturer at The Malaysian Insurance Institute. Robert is well experienced in all classes of insurance and expertly attends to manufacturing, property and export clients.
Stephen Chin, AMII
Vice President
Joined State Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd in July 2012
Prior to joining STATE, Stephen served the banking industry for 22 years. He was the northern regional manager for Commercial and SME Banking at a leading local financial institution in Malaysia. Besides his banking qualification and experience, Stephen has also earned his Associateship of Malaysia Insurance Institute (AMII) qualification. He handles all classes of insurance and currently oversees business development and branch operations at our Penang branch office.

Stewart received training at an international brokerage house before joining State. He holds a Bacehlor of Mathematics degree in which he graduated with Honours from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Stewart proficiently handles large and special risks and supervises the servicing of mainly large corporate clients from construction, properties and manufacturing industries as well as financial Institutions.
